You should never text while driving, and if you happen to be a Disney employee, you can now get fired for it!
A company-wide memo that went out to Disney employees yesterday said the company "is enhancing its vehicle safety policy effective immediately" and "failure to comply will lead to disciplinary actions up to and including termination."
Disney employees will not be allowed to read or send texts or emails while driving company cars OR their private cars, if they're doing anything that pertains to their jobs.
We're totally on board, Disney!
Texting while driving is dangerous to you and the other drivers on the road with you. We're glad to see a company doing their part to stop it.
